Care structure.
Specific guidance for children who need it
In order to guide children as well as possible in their development, we work with careful processes and clear guidelines. The care structure is one of them.
With the care structure, we ensure that we see in time when a child needs extra or different guidance. It concerns support or guidance in their development and, for example, with medical or other guidance questions. In addition, we watch carefully while playing and care, and also listen carefully to questions and concerns from parents.
Suitable care for every child
The well-being, safety and development opportunities of every child are always central to us. We work from our pillars and do this together with parents and professionals inside and outside our organization.
When a child needs specific guidance due to behavior, development or home situation, we first look at whether we can offer appropriate care within our organization.
We pay attention to the following:
- The daily offer for all children must remain safe and of good quality. We work according to the rules of our Pedagogical Compass and the law.
- The offer must fit within our time, knowledge and expertise. Extra guidance or support must be feasible for the pedagogical professionals within the team.
- The child must be able to continue to develop, from well-being and involvement, within the group.
When one of these limits is reached, we look for appropriate next steps together with parents. We never stop the shelter unexpectedly or suddenly. We always carefully follow our care structure and continue to discuss this with parents.
Our care structure is part of our Pedagogical Policy and of the Safety and Health Policy.
