Pre-school (2-4 years)
Why not begin by giving your 2 to 4 year old child a playful learning experience?

As a parent or caregiver, you want to ensure that your child can take advantage of what the world has to offer.
In collaboration with Rivers International School, we believe that children develop useful skills through guided play. Skills that lay a lasting foundation for all future learning.

By observing the children we can offer activities that challenge them to develop optimally. Playing is very important to us. We offer guided play and we offer activities that align with the experiences and interests of the children. We follow the children in our activity offer. We provide this all year round with the exception of school holidays.

 
After school care (4-13 years)
The activities are organized together with the children. We follow each child in their development and in what they need to continue developing. This helps us realise activities that fit the interests and capabilities of the children.

Each child is different and has its own interests. We offer extra attention to creativity, independence, personal development and empowerment of every child attending Skar.

 
Dutch VVE toddler group, Vlinders
Skar has a Dutch toddler group next to our Bilingual Pre-school.
This group has the possibilities of 4 mornings day-care with a VVE indication from the Childrens Consultation Office. They have an intensive Dutch Language Program to prepare children for Dutch Primary School. Children learn by playing and learning words that will help them understand and express themselves in life.

Most children that attend the VVE toddler group are Dutch.
We have moments where we play together outside with the Pre-school group. This is a nice collaboration and helps in social development.
