THE DUTCH FOUNDATION FOR CONSUMER COMPLAINTS BOARDS PROCEDURE

If the handling of your response does not produce a satisfactory solution, you can raise it with The Dutch National Counter for Childcare Complaints or the Dutch Foundation for Consumer Complaints Boards. You can approach the Dutch Foundation for Consumer Complaints Boards directly if you are unable to submit your response with those directly involved. This can also be done if your response has not been dealt with within six weeks. In that case, you must submit your response to the Dutch Foundation for Consumer Complaints Boards within twelve months of submitting it to Kinderopvang Skar.

The following disputes cannot be dealt with:

  • Disputes unrelated to the quality of childcare;
  • Disputes about non-payment of an invoice without a substantive reason;
  • Disputes that relate to damages resulting from death, physical injury, or illness.

The Dutch Foundation for Consumer Complaints Boards is easily accessible; you do not require a lawyer. The outcome is binding.
